This analytical and repair tool provides an additional facility for checking and correcting common sketch geometry problems.

In the example below, the circle shown in green is a duplicate of a circle drawn directly underneath this circle. This duplication is found and fixed using the Show Overlap tool.

An option is presented to fix the overlapping curves. When fixed, the curve is shown in red, shown below.

Show Gaps

This analytical tool shows by means of red nodes where any perceived gaps are in a profile.

This analytical tool identifies on a spline, the points of inflection on the curve.

In the example below, the inflection points of the curve are shown.

The Show Inflection tool works on Splines and Bezier curves only.

Check Curve Tangency

This analytical tool identifies the integrity of tangency connections.

In the example below. the curve between the 2 arcs has been incorrectly constructed.

By selecting PowerPack | Verify | Check Curve Tangency and selecting the entire profile, the tangency integrity is identified and highlighted with points, shown below.

Locate Minimum Curvature

PowerPack | Verify | Locate Minimum Curvature

This analytical tool examines the selected curves to identify minimum curvature. During the analytical process, the arc or curve is rebuilt, shown below right.
