Transcription Lessons

Throughout your typing career you will work from printed text often, whether it is letters, manuscripts, or other documents. Occasionally, the Mavis Beacon Keyboarding Kidz Mickey’s Adventures program asks you to practice typing text from your manual. Each of the following exercises is numbered and easily identified for those occasions. You use this text additionally when constructing custom transcription lessons.

NOTE: Each of these exercises presents as many key combinations as possible and sometimes employs extra punctuation for added practice. Do not use them for grammar or punctuation practice.
