How to unzip a ZIP file in Windows

If you received a ZIP file with your order:

  1. Open File Explorer and navigate to the folder where the ZIP file is saved.
  2. Right-click the ZIP file and select Extract All…
  3. Choose a destination folder (or accept the default) and click Extract.
  4. Navigate to the destination folder to find your unzipped files.
  5. Double-click the installer (.exe or .iso) file to continue — see the sections below.

You can also use built-in Windows PowerShell or third-party tools like WinRAR or 7-Zip.

Installation from an EXE file in Windows

  1. Download the .exe installer from the link you were sent.
  2. Open File Explorer and navigate to the folder where it’s saved (usually Downloads).
  3. Double-click the .exe file to start. If prompted by User Account Control (UAC), click Yes.
  4. Follow the Installation Wizard: accept the license agreement, choose an installation location, and select any additional options (desktop shortcut, extra components).
  5. Wait for the installation to complete, then click Finish.
  6. Launch the application from your Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Installation from an ISO file in Windows

  1. Download the .ISO installer from the link you were sent.
  2. Right-click the .ISO file and select Mount — this creates a virtual drive with the installation files.
  3. Open the new virtual drive under This PC.
  4. Double-click setup.exe (or similar) inside it. Click Yes if prompted by UAC.
  5. Follow the Installation Wizard as above (license agreement, location, options).
  6. Wait for completion, click Finish, then launch the application.

Installation from a DMG installer on macOS

  1. Download the DMG file from the link you were sent.
  2. Open Finder and navigate to the Downloads folder, then double-click the DMG file to mount it.
  3. Drag the application icon into the Applications folder shortcut shown in the Finder window.
  4. Eject the mounted DMG (right-click it and choose Eject).
  5. Open the Applications folder, locate the app, and double-click to launch. The first time, click Open if macOS warns the app was downloaded from the internet.
  6. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete initial setup (license agreement, initial settings).

Product Activation

License types

  • Trial License — temporary access with limited features or time, for evaluation.
  • Permanent License — one-time purchase tied to a single machine, valid for the product’s lifetime as long as OS/hardware stay compatible.
  • Upgrade License — updates from an older version to the latest release.
  • Subscription License — access for a defined period, with an automatic renewal prompt as it nears expiry. (Not all products offer subscriptions.)

Activation methods

Online Activation (recommended) requires: an active internet connection, the installed application, a valid license key, and your email address. Your full name, email address, and license key are required for all activation methods.

On first launch, an Activation Dialog appears. The Activate button stays disabled until a valid license key is entered.

Activating a trial

Once a valid trial key is detected, Run Trial becomes clickable (Buy Now stays disabled). After activation, the dialog shows trial status, remaining days, and options to buy or continue the trial. Trial licenses expire 15 days after activation — after that, only Buy Now is available and the application is unusable until a valid license is activated.

Activating a permanent or subscription license

Enter your full name, email address, and license key. If valid, an Activate button appears — click it to begin using the product. A subscription license works the same way, except access expires at the end of the subscription period.

Activating an upgrade license

Enter your new license key. The system checks for an existing installation: if found, your existing registration data is used; if not, you’ll be prompted for your previous license key (the one from the version you’re upgrading from). After verification, click Upgrade. Contact Customer Service if your previous license key is unavailable.

Offline activation

If internet access is unavailable, the system offers to proceed offline. Choose Yes to start Offline Registration, enter your name/email/license key, then click Proceed to open the Offline Activation dialog. To complete it: contact Customer Service with your Installation Code, receive a Confirmation Code, then enter it and click Activate.

Custom WorkShop Pro Activation

For Punch!® Home & Landscape Design, FloorPlan®, and ARCHITECT 3D®:

  1. After installing and registering your program, open your software.
  2. Click Continue on the QuickStart screen.
  3. Click Help, then select Custom Workshop Pro Registration.
  4. Enter the Custom Workshop Pro key you received with your order.

Copilot Activation

For TurboCAD® Windows, TurboCAD® Mac, ViaCAD®, and SharkCAD®:

  1. Open Help > Copilot Registration to open the Registration dialog.
  2. Enter your name, email, organization (optional), and the license key you received with your order.
  3. Click Activate.

PowerPack Activation

For TurboCAD® Mac and ViaCAD®:

  1. Launch the application, then go to Tools > PowerPack > Activate PowerPack.
  2. Enter the activation code you received when you purchased PowerPack (usually emailed or in your purchase confirmation).
  3. Click Activate or OK. You’ll see a confirmation once activation succeeds.

LuxCore Activation

For FloorPlan®:

  1. Launch the application, then go to Tools > LuxCore > Activate LuxCore.
  2. Enter the activation code you received when you purchased the LuxCore add-on.
  3. Click Activate or OK to finish.

PBR Material Packs Activation

If you’ve recently purchased an update for Punch!® Home & Landscape Design, FloorPlan®, or ARCHITECT 3D® for Windows, you’re eligible for free PBR Material Packs:

  1. Access the download page (link provided with your update).
  2. Enter your name, email, order number, and select the material pack(s) you want, then click Submit.
  3. You’ll receive an email with the download link(s).
  4. Install each pack following the EXE installation steps above.

Not all steps apply to every order — check the installer type you downloaded (usually noted at the end of your download link, or by examining the downloaded file itself) to see which sections apply. If you encounter any issues, contact customer support for assistance.

So entpacken Sie eine ZIP-Datei unter Windows

  1. Öffnen Sie den Datei-Explorer und navigieren Sie zum Ordner mit der ZIP-Datei.
  2. Rechtsklick auf die ZIP-Datei → Alle extrahieren…
  3. Wählen Sie einen Zielordner und klicken Sie auf Extrahieren.
  4. Navigieren Sie zum Zielordner, um die entpackten Dateien zu finden.
  5. Doppelklicken Sie auf die Installationsdatei (.exe oder .iso) — siehe unten.

Installation aus einer EXE-Datei unter Windows

  1. Laden Sie die .exe-Installationsdatei herunter.
  2. Öffnen Sie den Datei-Explorer und navigieren Sie zum Downloads-Ordner.
  3. Doppelklicken Sie auf die .exe-Datei. Bei Aufforderung durch die Benutzerkontensteuerung (UAC) klicken Sie auf Ja.
  4. Folgen Sie dem Installationsassistenten: Lizenzvereinbarung akzeptieren, Installationsort wählen, zusätzliche Optionen auswählen.
  5. Warten Sie auf den Abschluss und klicken Sie auf Fertigstellen.
  6. Starten Sie die Anwendung über das Startmenü oder die Desktop-Verknüpfung.

Installation von einer ISO-Datei unter Windows

  1. Laden Sie die .ISO-Installationsdatei herunter.
  2. Rechtsklick auf die ISO-Datei → Bereitstellen (erstellt ein virtuelles Laufwerk).
  3. Öffnen Sie das neue virtuelle Laufwerk unter Dieser PC.
  4. Doppelklicken Sie auf setup.exe (oder ähnlich). Bei UAC-Aufforderung Ja klicken.
  5. Folgen Sie dem Installationsassistenten wie oben.
  6. Nach Abschluss Fertigstellen klicken und die Anwendung starten.

Installation aus einem DMG-Installationsprogramm unter macOS

  1. Laden Sie die DMG-Datei herunter.
  2. Öffnen Sie Finder, navigieren Sie zum Downloads-Ordner und doppelklicken Sie auf die DMG-Datei, um sie zu mounten.
  3. Ziehen Sie das Anwendungssymbol in den Ordner Programme.
  4. Werfen Sie die gemountete DMG-Datei aus (Rechtsklick → Auswerfen).
  5. Öffnen Sie den Ordner Programme, suchen Sie die Anwendung und starten Sie sie per Doppelklick. Beim ersten Start ggf. auf Öffnen klicken, falls macOS warnt, dass die App aus dem Internet stammt.
  6. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen zur Ersteinrichtung (Lizenzvereinbarung, Ersteinstellungen).

Produktaktivierung

Lizenztypen

  • Testlizenz — temporärer Zugriff mit eingeschränkten Funktionen oder Zeit, zur Bewertung.
  • Dauerlizenz — einmaliger Kauf, gebunden an ein Gerät, gültig für die Lebensdauer des Produkts.
  • Upgrade-Lizenz — Aktualisierung von einer älteren Version auf die neueste.
  • Abonnementlizenz — Zugriff für einen definierten Zeitraum, mit automatischem Erneuerungsdialog. (Nicht alle Produkte bieten dies an.)

Aktivierungsmethoden

Online-Aktivierung (empfohlen) benötigt: eine aktive Internetverbindung, die installierte Anwendung, einen gültigen Lizenzschlüssel und Ihre E-Mail-Adresse. Vollständiger Name, E-Mail-Adresse und Lizenzschlüssel sind für alle Aktivierungsmethoden erforderlich.

Beim ersten Start erscheint ein Aktivierungsdialog. Die Schaltfläche Aktivieren bleibt deaktiviert, bis ein gültiger Lizenzschlüssel eingegeben wurde.

Testversion aktivieren

Sobald ein gültiger Testschlüssel erkannt wird, wird Testversion ausführen anklickbar (Jetzt kaufen bleibt deaktiviert). Nach der Aktivierung zeigt der Dialog Teststatus, verbleibende Tage und Optionen zum Kaufen oder Fortsetzen. Testlizenzen laufen 15 Tage nach der Aktivierung ab — danach ist nur noch Jetzt kaufen verfügbar und die Anwendung ist bis zur Aktivierung einer gültigen Lizenz nicht nutzbar.

Dauer- oder Abonnementlizenz aktivieren

Geben Sie Ihren vollständigen Namen, Ihre E-Mail-Adresse und Ihren Lizenzschlüssel ein. Bei Gültigkeit erscheint die Schaltfläche Aktivieren. Eine Abonnementlizenz funktioniert genauso, nur dass der Zugriff nach Ablauf des Abonnementzeitraums endet.

Upgrade-Lizenz aktivieren

Geben Sie Ihren neuen Lizenzschlüssel ein. Das System prüft auf eine bestehende Installation: falls gefunden, werden vorhandene Registrierungsdaten verwendet; falls nicht, werden Sie nach Ihrem vorherigen Lizenzschlüssel gefragt. Nach der Verifizierung auf Upgrade klicken. Kontaktieren Sie den Kundenservice, falls Ihr vorheriger Schlüssel nicht verfügbar ist.

Offline-Aktivierung

Bei fehlendem Internetzugang bietet das System an, offline fortzufahren. Wählen Sie Ja, um die Offline-Registrierung zu starten, geben Sie Name/E-Mail/Lizenzschlüssel ein und klicken Sie auf Weiter, um den Offline-Aktivierungsdialog zu öffnen. Zum Abschluss: Kontaktieren Sie den Kundenservice mit Ihrem Installationscode, Sie erhalten einen Bestätigungscode, geben Sie diesen ein und klicken Sie auf Aktivieren.

Custom WorkShop Pro-Aktivierung

Für Punch!® Home & Landscape Design, FloorPlan® und ARCHITECT 3D®:

  1. Nach Installation und Registrierung des Programms öffnen Sie Ihre Software.
  2. Klicken Sie auf Weiter im Schnellstart-Bildschirm.
  3. Klicken Sie auf Hilfe, dann Custom Workshop Pro-Registrierung.
  4. Geben Sie den erhaltenen Custom Workshop Pro-Schlüssel ein.

Copilot-Aktivierung

Für TurboCAD® Windows, TurboCAD® Mac, ViaCAD® und SharkCAD®:

  1. Öffnen Sie Hilfe > Copilot-Registrierung.
  2. Geben Sie Namen, E-Mail-Adresse, Firma (optional) und Lizenzschlüssel ein.
  3. Klicken Sie auf Aktivieren.

PowerPack-Aktivierung

Für TurboCAD® Mac und ViaCAD®:

  1. Starten Sie die Anwendung, dann Extras > PowerPack > PowerPack aktivieren.
  2. Geben Sie den beim Kauf erhaltenen Aktivierungscode ein.
  3. Klicken Sie auf Aktivieren oder OK.

LuxCore-Aktivierung

Für FloorPlan®:

  1. Starten Sie die Anwendung, dann Extras > LuxCore > LuxCore aktivieren.
  2. Geben Sie den beim Kauf erhaltenen Aktivierungscode ein.
  3. Klicken Sie auf Aktivieren oder OK.

PBR-Materialpaket-Aktivierung

Bei einem kürzlichen Update für Punch!® Home & Landscape Design, FloorPlan® oder ARCHITECT 3D® für Windows erhalten Sie kostenlose PBR-Materialpakete:

  1. Rufen Sie die Download-Seite auf.
  2. Geben Sie Name, E-Mail, Bestellnummer ein, wählen Sie die Pakete aus und klicken Sie auf Absenden.
  3. Sie erhalten eine E-Mail mit den Download-Links.
  4. Installieren Sie jedes Paket wie oben für EXE-Dateien beschrieben.

Nicht alle Schritte gelten für jede Bestellung — prüfen Sie den heruntergeladenen Installationstyp. Bei Problemen wenden Sie sich an den Kundendienst.

Comment décompresser un fichier ZIP sous Windows

  1. Ouvrez l’explorateur de fichiers et naviguez jusqu’au dossier contenant le fichier ZIP.
  2. Clic droit sur le fichier ZIP → Extraire tout…
  3. Choisissez un dossier de destination et cliquez sur Extraire.
  4. Naviguez jusqu’au dossier de destination pour trouver vos fichiers décompressés.
  5. Double-cliquez sur le fichier d’installation (.exe ou .iso) — voir ci-dessous.

Installation à partir d’un fichier EXE sous Windows

  1. Téléchargez le fichier .exe.
  2. Ouvrez l’explorateur de fichiers et naviguez jusqu’au dossier Téléchargements.
  3. Double-cliquez sur le fichier .exe. Si le Contrôle de compte d’utilisateur (UAC) le demande, cliquez sur Oui.
  4. Suivez l’assistant d’installation : accord de licence, emplacement d’installation, options supplémentaires.
  5. Attendez la fin de l’installation, puis cliquez sur Terminer.
  6. Lancez l’application depuis le menu Démarrer ou le raccourci bureau.

Installation à partir d’un fichier ISO sous Windows

  1. Téléchargez le fichier .ISO.
  2. Clic droit sur le fichier ISO → Monter (crée un lecteur virtuel).
  3. Ouvrez le nouveau lecteur virtuel sous Ce PC.
  4. Double-cliquez sur setup.exe (ou similaire). Cliquez sur Oui si l’UAC le demande.
  5. Suivez l’assistant d’installation comme ci-dessus.
  6. Une fois terminé, cliquez sur Terminer puis lancez l’application.

Installation à partir d’un programme d’installation DMG sur macOS

  1. Téléchargez le fichier DMG.
  2. Ouvrez Finder, naviguez jusqu’au dossier Téléchargements et double-cliquez sur le fichier DMG pour le monter.
  3. Faites glisser l’icône de l’application vers le dossier Applications.
  4. Éjectez le DMG monté (clic droit → Éjecter).
  5. Ouvrez le dossier Applications, localisez l’application et double-cliquez pour la lancer. La première fois, cliquez sur Ouvrir si macOS signale que l’application vient d’Internet.
  6. Suivez les instructions à l’écran pour la configuration initiale (accord de licence, paramètres).

Activation du produit

Types de licence

  • Licence d’essai — accès temporaire avec fonctionnalités ou durée limitées, pour évaluation.
  • Licence permanente — achat unique lié à une machine, valide pendant toute la durée de vie du produit.
  • Licence de mise à niveau — passage d’une version antérieure à la dernière version.
  • Licence d’abonnement — accès pour une période définie, avec dialogue de renouvellement automatique. (Pas tous les produits.)

Méthodes d’activation

Activation en ligne (recommandée) requiert : une connexion Internet active, l’application installée, une clé de licence valide et votre adresse e-mail. Votre nom complet, votre adresse e-mail et votre clé de licence sont requis pour toutes les méthodes d’activation.

Au premier lancement, une boîte de dialogue d’activation apparaît. Le bouton Activer reste désactivé jusqu’à la saisie d’une clé valide.

Activer une version d’essai

Une fois une clé d’essai valide détectée, Lancer l’essai devient cliquable (Acheter maintenant reste désactivé). Après activation, le dialogue affiche le statut, les jours restants et les options d’achat ou de poursuite. Les licences d’essai expirent 15 jours après activation — ensuite, seul Acheter maintenant est disponible et l’application est inutilisable jusqu’à activation d’une licence valide.

Activer une licence permanente ou d’abonnement

Saisissez votre nom complet, votre adresse e-mail et votre clé de licence. Si valide, le bouton Activer apparaît. Une licence d’abonnement fonctionne de la même manière, sauf que l’accès expire à la fin de la période d’abonnement.

Activer une licence de mise à niveau

Saisissez votre nouvelle clé de licence. Le système vérifie la présence d’une installation existante : si trouvée, les données d’enregistrement existantes sont utilisées ; sinon, vous devrez saisir votre ancienne clé de licence. Après vérification, cliquez sur Mettre à niveau. Contactez le service client si votre ancienne clé est indisponible.

Activation hors ligne

Si Internet est indisponible, le système propose de continuer hors ligne. Choisissez Oui pour démarrer l’enregistrement hors ligne, saisissez nom/e-mail/clé de licence, puis cliquez sur Continuer pour ouvrir la boîte de dialogue d’activation hors ligne. Pour finaliser : contactez le service client avec votre code d’installation, recevez un code de confirmation, saisissez-le et cliquez sur Activer.

Activation de Custom WorkShop Pro

Pour Punch!® Home & Landscape Design, FloorPlan® et ARCHITECT 3D® :

  1. Après installation et enregistrement du programme, ouvrez votre logiciel.
  2. Cliquez sur Continuer dans l’écran QuickStart.
  3. Cliquez sur Aide, puis Enregistrement Custom Workshop Pro.
  4. Saisissez la clé Custom Workshop Pro reçue avec votre commande.

Activation du Copilot

Pour TurboCAD® Windows, TurboCAD® Mac, ViaCAD® et SharkCAD® :

  1. Ouvrez Aide > Enregistrement Copilot.
  2. Saisissez votre nom, e-mail, organisation (facultatif) et clé de licence.
  3. Cliquez sur Activer.

Activation du PowerPack

Pour TurboCAD® Mac et ViaCAD® :

  1. Lancez l’application, puis Outils > PowerPack > Activer PowerPack.
  2. Saisissez le code d’activation reçu lors de l’achat.
  3. Cliquez sur Activer ou OK.

Activation de LuxCore

Pour FloorPlan® :

  1. Lancez l’application, puis Outils > LuxCore > Activer LuxCore.
  2. Saisissez le code d’activation reçu lors de l’achat.
  3. Cliquez sur Activer ou OK.

Activation des packs de matériaux PBR

Si vous avez récemment acheté une mise à jour pour Punch!® Home & Landscape Design, FloorPlan® ou ARCHITECT 3D® pour Windows, vous êtes éligible à des packs de matériaux PBR gratuits :

  1. Accédez à la page de téléchargement.
  2. Saisissez nom, e-mail, numéro de commande, sélectionnez les packs souhaités, puis cliquez sur Envoyer.
  3. Vous recevrez un e-mail avec les liens de téléchargement.
  4. Installez chaque pack en suivant les étapes EXE ci-dessus.

Toutes les étapes ne s’appliquent pas à chaque commande — vérifiez le type de programme d’installation téléchargé. En cas de problème, contactez le service client.
