You enter the name of the class in the Class Name text box. A blinking cursor in the text box indicates that you can begin typing. Duplicate names are not allowed, and you will be informed via an error message if you accidentally use the same name twice.


It’s also important to remember that you cannot use special characters, such as a period, comma, or apostrophe, when naming student profiles. For example, instead of typing “Ms. Robertson,” you would type “Ms Robertson” to create a profile for Ms. Roberson’s class.

Finally, class names cannot exceed 25 characters.
