Surface Grid

PowerPack | Draw | Surface Grid

This creates a NURB (Non-uniform rational b-spline) surface by referencing either 2 diagonal points in a plane or a referential surface.

In the example below, the option to create the surface grid by diagonals is used.

The U tolerance is 10

The V tolerance is 5

The tolerance is 10.

Creating the diagonal grid

The points of the grid are displayed by right-clicking in the editor and selecting Show | Points.

In the example below left, the points shown in red are selected using the Select tool. By exerting downward pressure the grid can be molded similar to the illustration below right.
