Select the items to be rearranged. Select the Object Alignment command. In 2D, these are the alignment options:

Select to align along top edges, bottom edges, left edges, right edge, or to center vertically or horizontally. Click the X to cancel.

In 3D, these are the alignment options:

You can align along any of the six edge options, or center in X, Y, or Z.
