The display grid is the mesh that is displayed while working, so that you can visualize the size and scale of your entities. The snap grid represents the increments to which the cursor will snap, when the snap grid is enabled. Snaps are points to which the cursor will jump, such as the midpoint of a line or the center of an arc.
