Rendering

Rendering is the means by which solid objects are shaded, contoured and colored to create photorealistic results.

OpenGL – a fast interactive rendering, and Raytrace – a slower, more detailed rendering – provide elements of contouring, shadowing and reflectance to objects which are otherwise rendered as a simple static part.

The shading is calibrated to the object’s view in the editor, and shadows and reflectance correspond to the object’s relationship to the WorkPlane.

To render the part to the user-defined settings, select the User-Specified tool in the toolbar shown above, then left click in the editor.
