show by name

This organizational tool displays objects by their assigned entity name in the editor. In the Rename exercise above, it was demonstrated how objects of similarity such as fasteners can be assigned a specific name.

By selecting PowerPack | Utilities | Show by Name, these objects, irrespective of their layer, can be immediately isolated in the editor.

In the example below, the common name Fasteners is input into the Search field of the Show by Name dialog box.

The result is shown below.

To display all the parts in the editor, right click and select Show All.
