Constraint-Compliant Objects

Geometric and dimensional constraints can be used on most drawing objects, however, compound entities such as Rectangles and Polygonal shapes must be created using the Single Line option.

Geometric and dimensional constraints cannot be used to constrain ellipses, splines, bezier curves and construction entities. Additionally, constraints cannot be applied to compound objects such as Symbols which are inserted into the editor from Entities page of the Concept Explorer.

Geometric constraints can be deleted in the same manner as a sketch object. When a constraint is selected, it removes all previous associativity to other objects.

3D objects are updated only when the associated 2D sketch profile is updated using either the Inspector or the Variables/Equations palettes.
