What you will learn in this Session

During this session you will learn how to :

  • Create concentric circles.
  • Draw an arc from the center of a circle.
  • Create a tangential arc.
  • Removing segments of lines and arcs.
  • Setting an alignment angle to track to specific angles.
  • Creating an offset of an arc.
  • Drawing and modifying a 4-sided polygon.
  • Creating duplicates in a polar pattern.
  • Inputting Dimensions and Center Marks

Information about this Session

  • The sketch geometry created in this Session will be used to build the model in the 3D Tutorial of this Session. Save your design at the end of the Session.
  • Should you wish to retain the sketch in order to produce the engineering drawing, save a copy of the 2D sketch to a separate drawing name.
  • The sample drawing for this session contains the 2D Sketch and the 3D Model. Frequently, these 2 layers are superimposed. Use the TurboCAD Explorer to control the display of the layers. Create your own layers if you wish to produce the design from scratch or pan to an unused area of the editor.
