Center Point Circle

Draw | Circle | Center Point Circle

This circle tool draws a single circle by defining the center point and diameter.

The diameter can either be defined by selecting a point in the graphics editor, or by inputting a value into the Diameter field.

The diameter of the circle can be changed after insertion by changing the value in the Diameter edit field.

In a previous task, circles were placed onto the centers of arcs. In this task, circles will be inserted onto the newly created intersections shown below.

Select the Center Point Circle tool from the Toolbar or use Draw > Circle > Center Point Circle.

Position the cursor over either of the intersections shown above. Left click when the magnetic marker tracks to the intersection, shown below.

Using the LogiCursor to find the intersection

TAB to the diameter field and input 4. The result is shown below.

Position the cursor over the next circle. When the LogiCursor finds the intersection, left click. The diameter is still fixed at 4 from the previous input. The result is shown below.
