Modify | Solid Direct Edit | Offset Face

This solid modification tool extends or shortens a face of a solid to a specified distance.

Planar and curved faces can be offset in either a positive (adds material) or negative (subtracts material) direction.

In this task, the flat (end) faces of the newly drawn pipes will be offset by -16 each end so that they fit inside Part 2 shown below. The Offset Face tool will shorten the overall length of the pipe to 90, shown below.
