Windows let in light and air, and they also make your design look realistic. In the software, you can easily place windows into any existing wall using the Window tool.

To add a window, go to the Floor tab in the main toolbar and select the Window tool. Then move your cursor over a wall and click (or drag) where you want the window to appear. The software will automatically insert the window into the wall—no need to cut an opening yourself.

After placing the window, you can customize it in the settings panel. You can adjust the width and height to make it larger or smaller, change the elevation (how high it sits from the floor), and modify details like trim, grill style, or even how the glass looks. For example, you might place a large window in a living room for more natural light, or a smaller, higher window in a bathroom for privacy. These options help you design both a functional layout and a realistic 3D view of your home.
