The Ceiling Fan tool is used to add a ceiling fan to a room in your design. A ceiling fan is a fixture that hangs from the ceiling and helps circulate air. In the software, this tool lets you easily place a fan so you can see how it will look and fit in the space—such as in a bedroom, living room, or covered patio.

To use the Ceiling Fan tool, go to the Electrical tab in the main toolbar and select it. Before placing the fan, open the Properties tab to choose the style you prefer. For example, you might select a modern fan for a contemporary room or a traditional style for a classic design. Once you have selected the style, click in the drawing area where you want the fan to be installed— usually at the center of the ceiling. After placing it, you can adjust the colors and materials and switch to the 3D view to see how it looks in a more realistic setting.
