After selecting the Window tool, you can choose the exact type and shape of window by using the Window Style panel. Think of this panel as a selection menu where you decide how your window will look before placing it into a wall.

To access it, go to the Floor tab, select the Window tool, and open the Window Style panel.

Here, you’ll find many different window styles. For example, a double-hung window is a common style where the top and bottom sections slide up and down. A casement window opens outward like a door. A picture window does not open and is mainly used to provide a clear outside view. You can also choose decorative shapes like arched, elliptical, circular, triangular, trapezoid, or other polygon-shaped windows. There is even a custom window option for unique designs.

To use it, simply select the window style you like, then click on an existing wall to place it. For example, you might choose a large picture window for a living room to showcase a backyard view, or a small arched window to add character to a hallway. This flexibility helps you match your windows to both the practical needs and the style of your home design.
