After selecting the Door tool, you can choose the exact type of door you want by using the Door Style panel. Think of this panel as a catalog where you pick the look and function of your door before placing it into a wall.

To open it, go to the Floor tab, select the Door tool, and look for the Door Style panel. Here, you’ll see many door options to choose from. For example, you can select a hinged door (a standard door that swings open), a French door (double doors with glass panels), a sliding glass door (often used for patios), a pocket door (slides inside the wall), a bi-fold door, or even a garage door. There are also simple openings like arched, cased, or elliptical openings if you don’t want a physical door installed.

To use it, simply click on the door style you like, then click on an existing wall in your design to place it. For example, if you’re designing a patio entrance, you might choose a sliding glass door.

If you’re adding a decorative hallway entrance, you might select an arched opening. This makes it easy to match the door style to the purpose and design of each space.
