The Framing Tab is used to create and manage the structural framework of your building design.

This includes essential components such as beams, posts, and other structural elements that support floors, roofs, and walls. For example, you can use the Framing tools to add support beams under a deck, place structural posts for a porch, or define framing members that strengthen the overall construction. These tools help ensure that your design is not only visually accurate but also structurally organized.

To use the Framing tools, go to the Framing tab in the main toolbar and select the structural element you want to add. Then click in the drawing area to place or draw the component. You can define the direction, length, and position of framing members while drawing. The Working Elevation setting at the top allows you to control the height at which the framing components are placed.

After placing framing elements, you can adjust their size and properties in the Properties panel.

In the 3D view, you can clearly see how beams and posts connect and support other parts of the structure. The Framing Tab helps you create a more complete and construction-ready design by adding the structural details behind the visible architectural elements.
