Railings are safety barriers placed along open edges, such as balconies, stairways, decks, or loft areas. They help prevent falls and also add style to your design. In the software, you can create railings easily using the Railing tool.

To add a railing, go to the Floor tab in the main toolbar and select the Railing tool. Choose a drawing method (for example, straight or curved), then click in the drawing area to start placing the railing. Click along the path where you want the railing to go—such as along the edge of a balcony or beside a staircase—and finish the shape when you’re done. The railing will automatically follow the points you defined.

After placing it, you can customize the details. You can adjust the handrail (the top part you hold), change the balusters (the vertical supports), modify the post spacing, and select different colors and materials. For example, you might choose a wooden handrail with white balusters for a classic look, or metal railings for a modern style. This helps you create a design that is both safe and visually appealing.
