The Home Automation Touch-Panel tool is used to add a smart control panel to your design. A touch panel is a wall-mounted screen that controls things like lights, security systems, temperature, and other smart home features from one central place. For example, you might place it near the main entrance or in the living room so it’s easy to access. Adding it to your plan helps you decide the best and most convenient location.

To use the Home Automation Touch-Panel tool, go to the Electrical tab in the main toolbar and select it. Then move your cursor to a wall and drag along the wall to place the panel. The panel will automatically be placed at a default height, but you can change this using the Elevation bar if needed. If you want to adjust the position slightly, you can drag it with your mouse or use the arrow keys on your keyboard for small, precise movements. Finally, check the placement in the 3D view to make sure it looks correctly installed and easy to reach.
