Doors allow people to move from one room to another, so adding them is an important step in your floor plan. In the software, doors are placed directly into existing walls using the Door tool.

To add a door, go to the Floor tab in the main toolbar and select the Door tool. Then move your cursor over a wall where you want the door to be placed. Click on the wall, and the door will automatically appear inside it. The software will create the opening for you—there’s no need to cut the wall manually.

After placing the door, you can customize it using the settings panel. You can change the size of the door, adjust the swing direction (which way it opens), choose the hinge side (left or right), and modify hardware details if needed. For example, if you want a door that opens inward to the left instead of the right, you can easily adjust that setting. This flexibility helps you design a layout that looks realistic and functions properly.
