The Callout tool in the Detail tab is used to highlight and reference specific portions of your building model. It allows you to create callouts for details, sections, or elevations, making it easier to provide additional information about a particular area of the design. This tool is especially useful for construction documentation and technical drawings.

To use the Callout tool, select the Detail tab and click the callout icon. Then click and drag in the drawing area to define the portion of the plan you want to reference. You can adjust the angle while drawing by holding the SHIFT key to release the angle constraint or CTRL to lock the segment angle. After placing the callout, you can modify its style and attributes in the Properties panel.
