The Switch Connector tool is used to show how a switch is connected to the item it controls, such as a light or a ceiling fan. In a real home, a switch turns something on or off. In the software, the Switch Connector does not create real wiring, but it visually shows the connection so your plan is clear and easy to understand. This is especially helpful when planning lighting layouts or preparing drawings for documentation.

To use the Switch Connector tool, go to the Electrical tab in the main toolbar and select the tool. First, click on the switch you want to connect. Then drag a line from the switch to the electrical component it controls, such as a light fixture. You can also do this in reverse by clicking the light (or other component) first and dragging the line back to the switch. The connector line will appear in your plan, clearly showing which switch controls which device.
