The Security Camera tool is used to add security cameras to your design so you can plan surveillance and safety coverage. This helps you decide where cameras should be placed to monitor important areas such as entrances, driveways, hallways, or backyards. For example, you might place a camera near the front door to cover visitors or along a wall facing a parking area.

Adding cameras in your plan helps you visualize how the space will be monitored.

To use the Security Camera tool, go to the Electrical tab in the main toolbar and select it. Then move your cursor to a wall in the drawing area and drag along the wall to place the camera. The camera will automatically be set at a default height, which you can adjust using the Elevation bar if needed. After placing it, you can check its position in the 3D view to make sure it is mounted at the correct angle and height for proper coverage.
