How to Add an Air Conditioner

Estimated reading: 1 minute 39 views

he Air Conditioner tool is used to add a cooling unit to your home’s HVAC system. An air conditioner is the main machine that produces cool air and sends it through ducts to lower the temperature in different rooms. It is usually placed outside the house, on the roof, or in a designated utility area. Adding it to your design helps you plan where the cooling system will be located and how it connects to the rest of the house.

To use the Air Conditioner tool, go to the HVAC tab in the main toolbar and select it. Then click in the drawing area to place the AC unit on the current floor or designated location. After placing it, you can adjust its elevation using the Elevation bar, change its direction with the Rotate tool, and move it to the correct position by dragging it. You can also choose different AC styles from the Properties tab before or after placement. Once the air conditioner is in place, you can connect it to air ducts so cool air can be distributed properly throughout your home.
