The Straight Stairway tool is used to create a simple, straight set of stairs that connects one level to another. For example, you can use it to connect a deck to the ground, a porch to the yard, or one floor of a house to another. A straight stairway goes in one direct line without turning or curving, which makes it easy to design and place.

To use the Straight Stairway tool, go to the Deck tab in the main toolbar and select it. Then click in the drawing area to set the starting point of the stairs, and click again to set the ending point.

The software will automatically create the stairs between those two points.

After placing the stairs, you can adjust important settings in the Properties panel, such as the height, width, and step size (how tall and deep each step is). You can also choose to add or remove handrails for safety. In the 3D view, you can apply different materials and colors to the steps and railings to match the style of your design.
