The Circle/Oval tool in the Detail tab is used to draw circular or oval shapes in your floor plan.

This tool is mainly for adding 2D drafting elements such as symbols, layout guides, decorative shapes, or construction details. It helps improve the clarity and visual presentation of your drawings.

To use the Circle/Oval tool, go to the Detail tab and select the circle icon. Then click and drag in the drawing area to create the shape. You can choose different draw methods from the Properties panel. Holding the SHIFT key while drawing will constrain the shape into a perfect circle instead of an oval.

Detail shapes created with this tool are visible in the 2D view only. However, they can sometimes be converted into other components, such as a patio or deck cutout. This tool is useful for adding precise circular details and enhancing your construction documentation.
