The Arc tool in the Detail tab is used to draw curved 2D shapes in your floor plan. It allows you to create partial circles or curved lines that are useful for drafting rounded edges, curved walls (as detail references), pathways, or decorative elements. This tool provides flexibility when straight lines are not suitable for the design.

To use the Arc tool, select the Detail tab and click the arc icon. Then click in the drawing area to define the start point, end point, and curve of the arc based on the selected draw method in the Properties panel. Holding the SHIFT key while drawing constrains the arc to a circular shape, and holding the CTRL key flips the direction of the curve.

Arc shapes are visible in the 2D view only. However, they can sometimes be converted into other components, such as a wall or edging. The Arc tool is useful for adding precise curved details and improving the overall accuracy and presentation of your construction drawings.
