The Circular Arc tool in the Detail tab is used to draw a curved shape by defining its radius and angle. Unlike the regular Arc tool, this option allows you to create a more controlled and precise circular curve. It is useful for drafting rounded design elements, curved edges, or technical detailing that requires exact measurements.

To use the Circular Arc tool, select the Detail tab and click the circular arc icon. Then click in the drawing area to define the center point, radius, and angle of the arc according to the selected draw method. Holding the SHIFT key while drawing will reverse the direction of the arc.

Circular arc shapes are visible in the 2D view only. However, they can sometimes be converted into other components, such as a pathway or switch connector. This tool is helpful for creating accurate curved details and improving the precision of your construction documentation.
