The Multigon tool in the Detail tab is used to draw a multi-sided shape by defining the number of sides before placing it. This tool allows you to create regular polygons such as pentagons, hexagons, or other evenly shaped figures. It is useful for drafting geometric layouts, design details, or decorative elements that require equal sides and angles.

To use the Multigon tool, select the Detail tab and click the multigon icon. In the Properties panel, set the Number of Sides (for example, 6 for a hexagon). Then click in the drawing area to place and size the shape. Holding the SHIFT key while drawing releases the angle constraint, and holding the CTRL key locks the segment angle for more precise placement.

Multigon shapes are visible in the 2D view only. However, they can sometimes be converted into other components, such as a deck area or ground fill region. This tool is helpful for creating clean, evenly proportioned geometric details in your construction drawings.
